Helpful Dog Mums is a professional and trustworthy dog walking service based in Royal Leamington Spa, Warwick and surrounding areas. With over a decade of experience between us, we have met dogs of every shape and size, each with their own unique personalities, quirks and needs. Our team are experienced, fully insured and Dog First Aid Trained. While our services are flexible to suit you and your dogs lifestyle.

We're not here to follow trends—we're here to build something genuine. With a blend of creativity, experience and heart, we are here to help your dog be their happiest self. Our Services

  • £14 per dog

    Flexible group walks to fit around your dogs needs. Your dog(s) will be collected from your home, transported to the park and walked for an hour by one of our experienced and Dog First Aid Trained walkers. Whether your dog likes playing with others, having a sniffy walk or a slow stroll we will match your dog to a group that fits them best.

  • £10 - 15mins / £12 - 30mins

    Don’t need a walk, just want someone to check in on your pet. We can pop in to give them some fuss, some food or a much needed toilet break.

  • Just let us know what you are looking for! We may not offer the service ourselves, but we will be happy to help by giving recommendations or sending you in the right direction

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Each of our walkers use their own vehicles to transport the dogs. All of our cars are fitted out with seatbelts for your dogs safety. We do not crate dogs or use branded vehicles, we get your dog used to travelling in the car with others and use regular vehicles to prevent becoming targeted by dog theft

  • Yes, if you are looking for walks 5 days a week, or multiple walks a day we can absolutely help you with a discount. Just get in touch and we can give you a price.

  • Our walkers will have 4-5 dogs with them on a group walk. Our insurance covers us for up to 6 dogs per person.

Chess

With a vision for building something meaningful, Chess started The Helpful Dog Mums with one main aim, to become a reliable, trustworthy and sought after service to the Leamington community. She brings a blend of big-picture thinking and hands-on experience. Which sets the tone for everything we do. Chess has been working with dogs since Feb 2018! And cannot imagine her life without them. She is also a Dog First Aid Trainer, providing courses to the whole of the South Midlands (A special shout out to her springer spaniel, Phoebe, who joins us for day to day operations )

Joely

Joely has been dog walking since June 2023 and since then has proven again and again just how dedicated and hard working she really is. Her obvious love of dogs as well as all creatures really shines though and has made her truly adored by the dogs and their owners. Her caring nature and can do attitude makes her the perfect fit at Helpful Dog Mums. Joely also has her own dog too, Vallis, a pointer, known for his photogenic poses and pooing on the move.

Leah

Leah has been working with animals since 2022 completing her first lambing season at just 17! She turned to dog walking in February 2025 after previously also working at a horse yard. Leah was clearly able to transfer her hands on experience with horses to dogs, and was a natural from day one. Leah has two dogs of her own, Bella, a Sprocker Spaniel and Bonnie, a Labrador, as well as a chicken and 3 sheep and was also the Chairman of the Young Farmers! Her daily positive attitude and natural ability with the dogs is truly part of the foundation of the Helpful Dog Mums
